Musee D'Orsay

So I went to the Musee D'Orsay yesterday and it was a spectacular way to spend a thursday morning/early afternoon because it was not too busy! They have an incredible collection of impressionist and Art Nouveau work, among many other things. The Toulouse Lautrec paintings and Monet paintings are my favorite. The amazing thing about seeing these works in person is the scale of the works, massive paintings and the details, the tiny brush strokes that make all the difference. No pictures are allowed in this museum but I took some outside and snuck a few others.

Gg... what a fabulous way to spend a Thursday afternoon in Paris! Yes, it is truly breathtaking when you see the work up close and know the work that went in to each piece. No doubt it gets your own creative juices flowing. Have a fabulous Friday and we will catch up over the weekend. Love you - Dad
