Today I had Creative Knitting which was a very small class taught by a French professor and looks like it is going to be very interesting and fun. THe class is sponsored and so we could order an unlimited amount of yarn. The pictures from the finals from last year's class are quite incredible and unique knitted sweaters or tops.
I also had Entrepreneurship for Designers. The teacher has a strictly business education but went into a bit of fashion when she began selling gloves. We will have to develop a business plan over the course of the class and attempt to get buyers....fo real! Sounds really awesome and she lent me the Book Beautiful Fall. It is about the rise of entrepreneurial designers Karl Lagerfeld and Yves St. Laurent by Alicia Drake and promises to be a good read, for the fact that Karl Lagerfeld had it banned in France...Ohhh King Karl.
